Danise graduated from Longwood University in 2012 and worked as an elementary school teacher in Chesterfield County. While teaching full-time, she pursued her masters degree in Reading Education and graduated from the University of Virginia in 2017. She then served as a Reading Specialist in Chesterfield County until 2021, when she had he
Danise graduated from Longwood University in 2012 and worked as an elementary school teacher in Chesterfield County. While teaching full-time, she pursued her masters degree in Reading Education and graduated from the University of Virginia in 2017. She then served as a Reading Specialist in Chesterfield County until 2021, when she had her son, Bryce. During her maternity leave, she served as a certified facilitator and coach for a foundational reading program, Reading Horizons. She traveled around the country, working with teachers on the Science of Reading and Phonics. She now serves as a reading specialist at a small private school, in Midlothian, VA. She resides there with her husband and two boys, Grayson and Bryce.
